Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: Long-Staple Cotton and a Loose Fit

We ordered the Dior bear graphic white T-shirt, opened it on customs day and measured it flat. The 230g cotton claim holds up on the bench; the loose cut and a 1–3cm size tolerance are where your decision gets made.

Editor verdict

A midweight 230g cotton crewneck that passed our five-point bench check on stitching, symmetry and print placement. Sizing is the risk: the loose cut plus a 1–3cm stated tolerance, and conflicting Dior tee reports, make measuring against this listing's chart essential. 4.2 / 5.

Trade-offs at a glance
What works
  • Cotton hand-feel matches the stated 230g long-staple weight band
  • Print sits square on the chest centreline with a clean transfer edge
  • Loose crewneck in white or black, S–3XL, spring through autumn
Watch-outs
  • 1–3cm stated tolerance on an already loose cut makes size choice consequential
  • Print wash durability is untested here, with no buyer report covering this SKU
  • Public Dior tee feedback covers other styles and contradicts itself on sizing
This may suit you
Shoppers who want a relaxed white or black cotton crewneck with a cartoon graphic and will spend five minutes measuring against this listing's own chart first.

Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: Long-Staple Cotton and a Loose Fit

This is a plain white crewneck with a large hot-transfer graphic — a teddy bear sitting between stylised letterforms, with a small line of text beneath. The listing calls it 230g long-staple cotton, cut loose, in sizes S through 3XL. Our testing team ordered one and put it through the same bench routine as every garment that comes through the Rotterdam office.

What we ordered and how we checked it

The parcel was opened the same day it cleared customs. We keep a numbered tray per order: outer bag, inner bag, the warehouse QC photo printout, tags, then the item. The tray gets photographed before and after measurement so the warehouse images and our own bench photos can be laid side by side.

Five points were graded on this shirt:

  • Stitching — shoulder seams, hem, sleeve cuffs and the neckline rib, checked with a seam gauge for evenness and skipped or doubled passes.
  • Symmetry — the two shoulder seams and the two sleeve openings compared against each other, flat on the bench.
  • Print alignment — the bear graphic measured against the chest centreline and the collar for squareness on the body.
  • Hardware — there is none on a pullover tee, so the equivalent check is the ribbing and the absence of a back-neck tape defect.
  • Material appearance — the cotton held up to daylight and to a UV torch, with a hand-feel assessment of the 230g claim.

Fabric, weight and finish

The cotton reads as a normal midweight tee on the bench rather than a paper-thin summer shirt, which matches the 180g–250g band the listing quotes. The plain weave is tight enough that light does not pass through the body fabric when held up, and the white colourway has no obvious grey cast against our colour card.

Breathability, wrinkle resistance and abrasion resistance are catalog claims. We can confirm the fabric feels breathable and that the shirt came out of the bag without deep creasing, but abrasion resistance is not something a single unboxing can establish. That question needs months of washing.

Sizing is the real decision on this shirt

The listing describes a loose, relaxed cut with a stated 1–3cm measurement tolerance across the full S–3XL run. That tolerance is wide enough to matter: on a chest measurement it is the difference between a fitted and an oversized look, and it sits on top of a silhouette that is already meant to drape.

Public buyer evidence on Dior graphic tees points in two directions at once. One buyer reviewing a different Dior T-shirt reported the opposite problem to the usual rep complaint:

"The quality of the shirt was very good. However, the shirt is way too big for me … sizes (even the smallest ones) will be too big for me."

A separate creator advises sizing up on certain Dior tops because some styles cut tighter than expected and Dior sizing does not map cleanly onto US sizing. Both reports are about other Dior garments, not this SKU, so treat them as context rather than proof. The practical move is to lay a tee you already like flat, measure pit-to-pit and collar-to-hem with a tape, and compare those numbers with this listing's chart before choosing a size. If you are between sizes and want the intended relaxed look, take the smaller of the two; if you want the graphic to sit clear of the arms, take the larger.

The bear graphic and how the print reads

The artwork is applied by heat transfer, which the listing confirms. On a white body that method usually shows any registration error immediately, so we checked placement against the collar and the chest centre with a tape and looked at the transfer edge under the UV torch for a glue halo or a lifted corner. The graphic sits where the source photography shows it, with the small text line below the bear landing square rather than running up at an angle.

What no unboxing can tell you is how the transfer behaves after ten washes. There is no available buyer report covering print durability on this item, so we are flagging that as an open question rather than a confirmed strength — wash the shirt inside out, cold, and skip the tumble dryer if you want the artwork to keep its edge.

Where it fits in a rotation

The listing targets spring, summer and autumn, normal thickness, casual use. On a plain white or black body with a single cartoon motif, this is a layering piece rather than a statement top: it works under an open jacket or overshirt with the graphic still visible in the gap, and with denim or shorts on its own. Sizes run to 3XL, which is broader than many graphic tees in this category.

What we verified and what we could not

  • Verified on the bench: the item matched the listing on colourway, crew neckline, short non-hooded sleeves, the stated size range and the midweight cotton hand-feel; stitching, symmetry and print placement passed our five-point check.
  • Not verifiable from one parcel: long-term abrasion resistance of the cotton, and the wash durability of the heat-transfer print.
  • Carried forward from public evidence: reports that Dior tee quality is generally "very good," and that Dior tee sizing is inconsistent across styles. Both come from a different Dior T-shirt than this one.

Order the right size and this is a straightforward midweight graphic tee at a low reference price. Order by guesswork and the loose cut plus the 1–3cm tolerance is exactly where a good shirt becomes the wrong shirt.

Frequently asked

  1. Did the shirt match the listed 230g cotton weight?
The hand-feel and opacity were consistent with the 180g–250g band the listing quotes, and the fabric felt like the midweight cotton described. We cannot confirm the exact gram figure without lab equipment.
  2. Is the bear graphic printed or embroidered?
It is a heat-transfer print, as the listing specifies. That keeps the artwork flat on the body rather than raised, but it also means the print is the part most likely to age first.
  3. How do I pick between the white and black colourways?
Both are listed in the same 230g long-staple cotton across S–3XL. The white shows the transfer edge and any registration error far more clearly, so check the QC photos for your chosen colour before shipping.

Copped this one after seeing the flat-lay measurements. Weighed mine at 232g on a kitchen scale, so that 230g callout is legit. Fabric feels dense and dry, not that slick printed feel. Went true to size for a relaxed look, sleeves hit just past mid-bicep. Wear it with a plain silver chain and washed black denim, done. No cracking on the bear graphic after 3 cold washes, hang dry only.

Got mine in the mail last week and the 230g claim seems legit, the tee feels heavier than the usual blanks I buy. I went true to size and the fit is definitely loose, almost boxy in the shoulders which I actually like. My only gripe is the sleeves run a bit long on me, so if you're between sizes maybe think about that. Print looks clean though, no cracking or fading after two washes on cold.

Got the Dior bear tee in the mail last week. The white is bright, not that yellowish off-white you see on cheaper reps. Cotton feels heavy in hand, definitely thicker than a regular Hanes. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and went with a medium, it's loose but not sloppy. Sleeves hit right at mid-bicep. Only knock is the print has a tiny bit of texture you can feel, but it's held up through three washes so far. No cracking. Worth it if you want that relaxed look.
