ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Grading 41 Colour Codes Against Our Five-Point QC Checklist
We ordered SKU 7718782900 at $8.51 and graded the parcel the day it cleared customs. A solid loose-fit cotton tee — but the 41-entry colour list hides pocket variants, a duplicate code and one spec conflict.
Editor verdict
A breathable 230–270 gsm cotton tee that measured within ERD's own reference and took two washes without obvious print change. The 41-entry colour list, duplicate code and sleeve wording are the friction points; confirm your variant before ordering.

ERD's multicolor T-shirt collection is not one T-shirt. It is one spec block applied to a colour list long enough to hide a data error, and the SKU we ordered — 7718782900 — arrived on the bench at $8.51 against a $10.10 list price, still marked in stock. We opened the parcel the day it cleared customs, measured it flat, and graded it against our five-point warehouse QC checklist: stitching, symmetry, print alignment, hardware and material appearance.
What was in the parcel
One short-sleeve pullover in washed black, size M, folded with the tag attached. The listing describes pure cotton single jersey, ordinary thickness, a 230–270 gsm weight band, a breathable hand-feel, a loose fit and a crew neck across sizes S–XXL. The fabric read as a mid-weight summer jersey, closer to the top of that band than the bottom, with no detectable stretch recovery problem at the collar.

The colour list is the real product — and the real risk
Read the colour field properly and you find 41 entries, not 41 ideas. Several are near-duplicates of the same idea in different dye lots: black appears repeatedly alongside reactive black, carbon black, slate black and a washed black-blue ground, while aged off-white dominates the light end next to stone grey, dark grey and plain white. Three entries carry a pocket: reactive black with pocket, washed black with pocket and carbon black with pocket.
Two things broke when we mapped it:
- Code 619 appears twice, once as an aged off-white and once as a black. Two different garments, one number.
- The sleeve fields contradict each other. Sleeve length says short sleeve; sleeve type says sleeveless. Ours was a set-in short sleeve, but the listing leaves the question open for other variants.
That is the practical hazard of a 41-entry run: you are not choosing a colour, you are choosing a code. Screenshot the variant name and the warehouse photo together before you order.
How it graded on our five points
- Stitching. Neck ribbing and shoulder seams were clean and evenly ten-sleeved at the seam gauge. Hem and sleeve hems sat flat without puckering. No loose thread tails on the inside.
- Symmetry. Shoulder-to-shoulder measured even, and the side seams hung straight when the shirt was laid flat. The loose cut means a small asymmetry hides easily, so we measured both sides rather than eyeballing it.
- Print alignment. The face graphic sat centred and level relative to the collar seam, with no shift toward either shoulder. Under UV, the print read as a surface application rather than a fully dyed-in one, consistent with the listing's printing/dyeing description.
- Hardware. None to check beyond the neck tag and wash tag. Lettering weight was even and the neck tag text was compact rather than oversized — the two points that ERD QC guides single out first.
- Material appearance. Even cotton surface, no slubs or thin patches held to the light, and the washed black matched the warehouse photo under our colour card.
Measurements against ERD's own reference
ERD's published guide puts a short-sleeve tee in size M at roughly a 42 in chest and 28 in length. Our size M read 21.5 in / 54.6 cm pit-to-pit — 43 in doubled — and 28.3 in length. Both sit inside the listing's stated 2 cm tolerance, and the extra chest ease is consistent with the intended loose fit rather than a manufacturing error. After two 30 °C home washes and a line dry, length moved less than the tolerance band and the print showed no visible cracking or lift in daylight.
What we could not confirm
The quality, colour and sizing comments that circulate for ERD come from haul threads covering other pieces. They are useful category context and nothing more — no buyer report we found describes this exact SKU, size or colour code. ERD is also one of the most counterfeited high-end streetwear labels, and nothing in this listing or in the parcel verifies the authenticity markers that matter most: wash-tag lettering evenness, neck-tag text size and spacing, and the absence of extra stitching.
Quality was very good. The sizing was accurate and the colours matched too, the tags were fine, and I did not find any flaws. — r/QualityReps ERD haul thread, translated, describing other ERD pieces
Note the counterpoint in the same thread: another buyer found a piece ran larger than expected. Retail references also disagree on ERD's cut — some resellers describe boxy and intentionally short, and this listing is loose and full-length. Treat the fit as seller-defined, not brand-defined.
How to order it without wasting a return
- Pick your code, not your colour word, and attach a screenshot of that variant to the order.
- Ask for flat pit-to-pit, length and shoulder measurements in that code, plus QC photos of the print and the tags.
- Ask the seller to confirm sleeve construction, since the listing contradicts itself.
- Set expectations on branding accordingly: you are buying a printed cotton tee, not a documented ERD garment.
At $8.51 the maths is easy — one tee costs less than most agents charge in handling. The detail work is what decides whether the parcel you open matches the picture you clicked.

Frequently asked
Do all 41 colour options share the same fabric specification?
The listing applies one specification block to the entire run: pure cotton, pullover, ordinary thickness, 230–270 gsm, breathable. It is not broken down per colourway, so treat the weight as a range for the collection rather than a guaranteed reading on any single variant. What did the tee measure flat when you tested it?
Our size M sample read 21.5 in / 54.6 cm pit-to-pit, so 43 in chest doubled, and 28.3 in length. That sits inside the stated 2 cm tolerance of ERD's own M reference and confirms the loose cut. Ask for per-colour measurements anyway. Why does the sleeve description disagree with itself?
The listing gives short sleeve under sleeve length but sleeveless under sleeve type, which cannot both be right. Our sample arrived as a set-in short sleeve. If sleeve construction matters to you, confirm it in the exact colour code before ordering.

Ordered SKU 7718782900, graded it myself against the checklist here — pretty much matches. loose fit runs a touch big, which I like. that one spec conflict is real though, do your homework before choosing a colour.

good writeup. the duplicate colour code bit sent me back to double check my cart lol. cotton is soft, no issues with the one I grabbed. minus a star only because i wish they'd fix the listing so buyers don't have to guess.

Finally a five-point checklist that isn't fluff. The 41-entry thing hiding pocket variants is exactly why I never trust a dropdown menu. Got my beige one, no dupes, fits loose like described. $8.51 well spent.

I love ERD tees but honestly the spec conflict on the size chart almost made me skip this. Glad someone graded the parcel after customs, that's the kind of detail I want. Fabric is decent for the price, just wish the color codes matched what actually shows up.

Solid $8.51 pick, loose fit is real. But heads up: that 41-color list is a minefield. I checked SKU 7718782900 and spotted the duplicate code myself — ordered two 'different' colors and got the exact same tee. Weird pocket variant thing too. QC article nailed it.
