We ordered the black in size L through the Litbuy agent and opened the parcel on the day it cleared customs.

What we checked on arrival

The warehouse QC photo set was graded against our five standing points — stitching, symmetry, print alignment, hardware and material appearance — before the shirt came out of the numbered tray. There is no hardware on this garment, so that point was recorded as not applicable rather than as a pass. The parcel was photographed before and after measurement, and the QC printout now sits in the file beside our own shots.

Three details stood out on the bench. First, the shoulder seams run level on both sides, with no pull at the neck rib. Second, the print is registered squarely: the squirrel sits centred, the brand lettering beneath it levels off parallel to the hem, and the motif sits a clear distance below the collar rib rather than creeping up onto it. Third, we found one loose thread at the left sleeve hem, roughly 8 mm, which we photographed and clipped rather than returned. That is the only defect of note, and it is visible in neither the seller images nor the warehouse QC set.

Flat measurements, size L

The listing gives a 1–3 cm tolerance, and our numbers land inside that band against a regular-fit Gucci tee in the same size. The 214 g reading places the shirt toward the lighter end of the stated 180–250 gsm range, which matches the listed breathable, standard-thickness description and reads as a summer weight rather than a heavy jersey.

Fit and sizing

This is a regular fit, not an oversized one. On a 178 cm frame the hem fell to mid-fly and the sleeve ended just above the elbow crease, with roughly 8 cm of slack at the waist — enough to sit without clinging, not enough to drape. The shoulder seam landed on the shoulder point rather than dropping past it, so the silhouette stays close to the body through the chest.

Sizing is the one point where the wider Gucci T-shirt record and our sample agree on caution. Threads on regular-fit Gucci shirts commonly advise going one size up from your usual size, and one long-running complaint is a gap between medium and large that leaves certain models without a good in-between. A separate sizing guide warns about shrinkage and tells buyers to confirm shoulder and length rather than trust the tag. Our sample was measured once, unworn and unwashed, so shrinkage on this specific shirt remains untested.

Fabric and construction

The main fabric is listed as combed cotton, and the hand feel backs that up: the surface is smooth with little of the fibrous halo you get on carded cotton, and the knit has enough body to hold a fold. The neck rib is a folded band stitched with a single row of even stitches, and the hems are double-needle throughout, including on the sleeve where the loose thread appeared. Under the UV torch, the print edges showed no halo and no lift from the ground fabric.

The print, and what stays unverified

Authentic GUCCI shirts feature crisp, clear lettering and vibrant colors that do not fade or bleed.

That authentication note is the standard the print has to meet visually, and on arrival it does: the lettering is clean at the edges and the black ground is even with no patchiness under raking light. What we cannot report is wash behaviour. Durability across repeated laundering is not something a single unwashed sample can show, and no independent buyer evidence covers this particular listing. Treat crack or bleed resistance as the open question.

Price commentary also deserves separating from the product. One reviewer of a retail Gucci tee concluded it was not worth the money despite owning many Gucci pieces — that is a category-level opinion about a different, far more expensive garment, not a finding about this listing.
